2006-05-17

The WPSA PowerSports ATV Championship Tour announced today that American Suzuki Motor Corp. (ASMC) has signed an agreement to become an official sponsor of the Tour.

“We’re pleased to welcome Suzuki to America’s newest ATV racing tour,” said PowerSports Entertainment CEO Rick Murphy. “Suzuki is a name synonymous with the high-performance powersports industry. Its competition heritage is second to none and we welcome the opportunity to help Suzuki write another page in its long and successful racing history.”

“Suzuki's support of ATV racing is unrivaled,” said Rod Lopusnak, ATV Operations Manager for ASMC, “and we’re excited to partner with the PowerSports ATV Championship Tour, another company determined to help move ATV racing to the next level. We’re thrilled to showcase our Team Suzuki/Yoshimura race team, and the new LT-R450 QuadRacer ATV. As the back of our Team Suzuki/Yoshimura Race semi says, we’re ‘Serious about the Sport.’”
